1. Who we are
Moduvant Systems Ltd (“Moduvant”, “we”, “us”) provides Moduvant Ops — an AI-assisted operator retainer for trade and service businesses — and related tools including Emergency Dispatch voice intake demos and transactional messaging (Moduvant Notifications / Dispatch Alerts).
2. What this notice covers
This notice explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit our website, enquire about or buy our services, use our demo lines, or receive SMS/MMS under our messaging programme. A shorter messaging-focused page is also available at SMS Privacy.
3. Information we collect
- Contact details you give us (name, email, phone, company name, role)
- Billing and payment metadata processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers
- Service and account information (kickoff notes, tone samples, tracker fields you share, approval rules)
- Voice demo call content and capture fields (e.g. name, callback number, address, issue, urgency) when you dial our demo lines
- Mobile numbers, SMS content, opt-in/opt-out records, and delivery metadata for the messaging programme
- Technical website data (IP address, browser type, basic server logs) needed to operate and secure the site
4. How we use this information
- Respond to enquiries and provide Moduvant Ops and related services
- Process payments and keep business records
- Operate voice intake demos and (where consented / approved) transactional SMS alerts
- Honour HELP / STOP and other opt-out requests
- Secure, troubleshoot, and improve our systems
- Meet legal, tax, regulatory, and carrier requirements
5. Mobile information and third parties (CTIA)
We do not sell mobile phone numbers. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may share data only with:
- Service providers who process messages, host systems, or take payments on our behalf (for example Twilio, hosting providers, Stripe), under contracts limited to providing those services
- The trade contractor or account associated with a job when the communication is part of that service relationship
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security
These parties are not authorised to use your mobile information for their independent marketing.
6. SMS programme
Where you or your organisation opt in, we may send transactional and service-related texts (for example emergency job intake summaries, dispatch or appointment notices, and account updates). Marketing or promotional SMS, if ever offered, requires separate express consent and is not part of our default Dispatch Alerts programme. We do not use purchased or cold lists for this programme.
7. Legal bases (UK GDPR where applicable)
Where UK GDPR applies, we typically rely on: performance of a contract; legitimate interests in operating our website and transactional service communications; consent where required for SMS; and legal obligation.
8. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet tax and legal duties, and meet carrier record-keeping expectations, then delete or anonymise where practicable.
9. International transfers
We are UK-based and may use processors in the UK, EU, US, or other countries (including messaging registration and delivery). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object or withdraw consent. Email customer.support@moduvantsystems.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
11. Children
Our services and messaging programme are intended for business and adult service contacts, not for children under 16 (or higher age if required by local law).
12. Cookies and analytics
This static site does not set advertising cookies. Basic hosting or CDN logs may record technical requests. If we add analytics later, we will update this notice.
13. Changes
We may update this notice. The effective date above will change when a revised version is published at this URL. Material changes affecting SMS consent will be communicated as required by law or carrier rules.
